About the artist:
Abdullah Bin Saqr (b. 31 January 1979) is a distinguished artist and educator with a bachelor’s degree in Art Education (2001). He has been an art education teacher at the Ministry of Education since 2001 and is an active member of the Arab Society for Culture and Arts, the JSFT Association, and several jury committees for art competitions and exhibitions.
His achievements include multiple prestigious awards, such as second place in the Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Qahtani Competition for Culture and Arts (2016), third place in the Souk Okaz Award (2017), and a Certificate of Excellence in the Dia Aziz Dia Portrait Award for two consecutive years (2017 & 2018). He has also won national and regional awards, including the First Place Prize in the Hajj and Umrah Art Competition (2019) and the Second Place Award in the National Talent Competition for Saudi National Day (2017).
Abdullah has supervised numerous workshops and training programs, participated in exhibitions both locally and internationally, and his works are part of esteemed collections held by government institutions and prominent figures.
